Gaming PCs not completely dead yet

Currently, gaming and technology in general has been centered on mobility and notebooks, generally the desktop PC doesn’t get much attention. Lenovo however has introduced their new desktop, the IdeaCentre K430 gaming desktop. While most of us are too busy playing (Skyrim, Star Wars: The Old Republic, or all the other wicked games you choose to indulge in) to look away from the screen for a few minutes, the K430 came as a bit of a surprise among the showing of the new ultrabooks coming out.

The starting price for the K430 is $599, however that’s the bare minimum. Upgrades are always good, and Lenovo is doing just that. You can upgrade, adding AMD or Nvidia graphics cards. Memory can go up to a whopping 32GB. For hard drives itself, you’re looking at a 4TB storage god.

If you’re not a massive nerd like I am, the simplicity of the specifics of the K430 are definitely going to be something to look at.

Of course though, anyone who is generally a hardcore gamer would have already built their own computer. But not all of us know how to build a computer, and for the pre-assembled market, this is a computer to consider when looking for a new one.
